INTRODUCTION







Farook B.Ed College is a well-equipped College of teacher education to provide quality teacher education to all classes of people, to attract and encourage talented students towards teaching profession especially from among financially and educationally back ward Muslim minority students and the other marginalized section of the society.
Farook B.Ed College has all the facilities, including state of the art devices under its own roof to facilitate and ensure quality teacher education.
Farook B.Ed College is an Un-Aided Training College.The College is situated on a beautiful campus and is highly fascinating for its natural beauty and marvelous surroundings. The location is about 12 Kilometers from Tirur Railway Station, in between Changuvetty (NH 17) and Kottakkal.
Farook B.Ed College was set up in 2004, under the management of Farook Educational Society. The Society was formed in 1982 and runs well established institutions like Farook English Medium High School and Higher Secondary School, Farook Teacher Training Institute and Farook Arts and Science College, providing curricular and co-curricular activities for both mental and moral development of the students. Farook B.Ed College is affiliated to University of Calicut with an intake of 100 students and five optional subjects. All the courses offered are recognised by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).

The total Land area of our college is 5 acres and 14.34 cents.The land is under posession and enjoyment of Farook Educational Society.The Society has obtained land use certificate for the functioning of educational institutions from the competent authority

INFRASTRUCTURAL FECILITY
Construction of the building has been completed.Common rooms for boys and girls are available, Number of class rooms 7. [ 4375 square feet]
Principles room - 426 square feet, Office room-426 square feet.
Activity rooms – 2203 square feet .Fire extinguishers are maintained in the college.
